HOLIDAY GREETINGS

December 16, 2025

Hello Readers,

And greetings from snowy central Virginia, where a white Christmas happens once a decade.  We’ve had two snowfalls already and most of us are tired of winter. As I write this, it’s 18 degrees outside. Very unusual for us, but the experts say it’ll pass and, once again, there will be no white Christmas.

Your enthusiasm for The Widow is causing quite a stir around the Grisham home and making for a very festive season, snowy or otherwise.  Its sales numbers are still strong and it’s at the top of the bestseller lists.  I’m often asked if I still look at those lists. Of course I do!  Every week.  I’m always curious about my books but I also want to see what others are reading.

With a little luck, maybe we’ll be back at the top next October.  A new legal thriller is almost finished.

Until then, enjoy the holidays with those who matter – your family and friends.  And take a moment to help those who are not as fortunate.

Happy Holidays,

John Grisham
